HISTORY Story of Establishment

GIICO’s story began in 1976 when a group of ambitious Kuwaiti engineers faced challenges in completing their projects due to a lack of reliable inspection facilities within the country. Seeing an opportunity, they took it upon themselves to establish Gulf Inspection International Co. (GIICO), the first industrial inspection service in Kuwait. What started with a single laboratory soon expanded into a full- service company that set the foundation for Kuwait’s industrial inspection standards .

A significant milestone in GIICO’s history was becoming the official dealership for Acker Drilling in Kuwait, marking the company's foray into advanced drilling technologies. Over the decades, GIICO has grown from its modest beginnings into a pioneering corporation with a global presence, having completed over 9,000 projects. Through continuous innovation and a commitment to excellence, we’ve built a legacy that contributes to Kuwait’s development while forging a path of success internationally.
